Quick Start Guide: How to use 360groups
The 360 groups tool allows you to rate your group against a number of different online safety criteria.
It is structured in areas and focuses. Within each focus, there are 4 level statements, which are shown on the review page. A rating from 1 to 4 can be selected with 4 representing the highest level of achievement.
Review Dashboard
Your review dashboard provides an overview of your progress within the tool. The radar graph shows the levels you have selected for each aspect (green) along with the current national level (blue).
This provides an instant overview of the areas of online safety that need improvement. Click on the intersection of the aspect line and the green or blue line to be taken to the selected aspect and continue your review.
Areas
The areas provide the highest level in the structure, defining the three main categories in which the review is carried out.
Each area provides the starting point for the review.
Focuses
Each area is divided into four focuses. There are twelve focuses in total within the four areas.
Within each focus you will find four level statements. Select the statement that best reflects your current position.
Once you have selected a level, you will be presented with the relevant improvement actions. You can then enter a commentary to descibe your provision and plan your intended improvements.
Progress in each focus is calculated based on whether you have chosen a level and whether you have entered commentary.
